Interesting Learning with Technology

          Learning is main activity in school. As a teacher we always must have creative idea to make an interesting learning activity in class. Actually every subject is interesting and challenging, but some do not like particular subjects especially which is has to read a lot. There re many way to make interesting learning activity, one example is by integrate technology in our lesson. 

              Technology can make our lesson more interesting because the student not only listen to teacher or just read the text book, but they are construct the knowledge trough the learning activity. The range of technology in learning is very broad, here I want to tell about integrate internet in learning activity by use Webquest. What is Webquest ?According to WebQuest.org  "Web quest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the web". So, with web quest we can create an interesting learning. By using webquest the students will be active to search and explore the learning resources that provide by the teacher in webquest. It will make them feel that they are not studying but playing. 

               There are many tools to make webquest whether it is online or offline. If you want to make it in offline you can use Microsoft Office Power Point and put the hyperlink in your presentation to the web pages that provide the material of your learning. if you want to make in online there are two sites that you can use those are zunal.com and questgarden.com. Both of those sites are good and have different features. 

               In a webquest there are several elements that have to included, those are :

• Title : show webquest title
• Introduction : show/ introduce the stunents to the webquest, in some webquest in introduction the teacher show or tell students role in the webquest
• Task : show student's objectives 
• Process : show the step of students in leraning. In this section most of link of resources should be put in.
• Evaluation : show rubric and criteria of assessment towards students  task
• Conclusion : show the summary of all process that students have done and learned.

               The aim of this webquest are to help students understand about theory and practical skills in soccer. It is for preparing them to face end-semester exam which is usually examine theory, but most of them do not get theory session in class. Hopefully in will help them. My Memorable Holiday

                 In this time when you have entered college, may be you feel lonely, stress because of assignment, or very busy with you activity in campus. To relax your mind you can remember the nice moment when you are in high school or or moment with your family. sometime just looking photos don't make us satisfied. There is another way to remember your  nice and memorable moment. Make your own movie from your photos or videos using Windows Live Movie Maker or Windows Movie Maker 2.6

                  You can input music, text, and effect to make your movie more interesting and wonderful. Here the tutorial video of using Windows Live Movie Maker  :

Well Prepared, The Key of Succesful Teaching

                Good preparation is the key to successful teaching. So, as a teacher we have to prepare our material and lesson well. Before we teach you have to plan what are you going to do in the  class. Arrange you class activity well, so the students will enjoy our lesson. After you get all your idea and activity that will you do in your class put in structural text called lesson plan.

                In lesson plan there are several elements that should be included those are :

• Title of lesson plan
• The description of lesson plan (grade, topic, allocation times
• Goals 
• Objectives
• Concept map and instructional software (optional)
• Instructional activities 
• Assessment
• Attachment of text, video, etc (optional)

                 After you complete all the elements put in word processing and arrange it well. You can bring it when you are teaching to help and remind you to stay on your plan and teach structurally.

Have a good idea to teach ? Make it in concept map!

               To be a good teacher is not easy but also not so hard. When you want to teach you should have an idea in your head what will you teach in class. You can make your idea in concept map. It will help you organized your idea about material and activity that you want to do in class.With concept map you can draw how your idea such as leaning goals, objectives in teaching, activity, assignment and assessment, and tolls in learning are related each other.

               To make a good concept map you can use Inspiration9 software. It is one of good software to make concept map. The program also can be used to make diagram, outline, and template. The interface of the program is like this :

The Magnificient 'Zooming' Presentation

             Presentation must be very common in our ear, especially you who in education or business. To make presentation we commonly use Microsoft Office Power Point, but now there is new tool to make good and interesting presentation. The tool is  Prezi.com, Zooming Presentation. This is online site to make zooming presentation, it also has the offline that is Prezi Dekstop 


Some benefits of Prezi are :

•  Make the presentation more interesting.
• Give new type of presentation.
• Enable be edited online.
• Prezi.com give us storage to save our presentation online.
• Simple to make.

Here I would like to present a story and condition of my high school using Prezi.com The story of my college started since when I was in high school. Without my high school I would never be like this now. All my teachers and my friends there are some of the best teacher in my life. So, I want to share a little bit about my school that is SMA  Negeri 13 Surabaya (SMAGALAS) especially the condition and what will I do if I come back.
